As we all know, there is a herb for every problem. For previous generations, knowledge of the different properties of herbs and trust in their powers was a matter of course. For this reason, it is worth looking in Grandma's tea cupboard! Many of the sometimes inconspicuous herbs that grow in meadows and on the edges of paths are valuable aids in everyday life.
Goodbye, troublemakers!
Nature's support is precious when we are exposed to wet, cold weather and spend time in overheated rooms.
Ribwort plantain, the "king of the paths", is known for dealing with scratchy and irritating troublemakers in your throat. It can do this alone or in conjunction with wonderfully fragrant spruce needles. The power duo ensures that the winter season passes without any major disruption. When you feel chilly, Thyme, elderberry, and sage are a dream team. Thyme provides pleasant warmth, and the frog in your throat voluntarily runs away at the sight of sage. Floral, sweet elderflowers give the mixture the finishing touch.
All's well that ends well!
A worthy end to a particularly exciting day is the mixture of lemon balm, verbena, and lavender. The lemony aroma paired with the lavender scent gently brings you back down to earth.
You can also end the day with lemon thyme's unmistakable fruity herbal aroma. A hot tip: try it cold as an iced tea!
